Solicitors in Carmarthenshire

Carmarthenshire is a county in the south west of Wales, bordered to the South by coastline and the Bristol Channel, and to the West by Pembrokeshire. The area is home to just short of 200,000 people, of whom around 50% still speak the Welsh language. The county is the third largest in Wales by area, and boasts several major towns, including Llanelli, Carmarthen and Ammanford. The terrain of the county is varied, with the Black and Cambrian Mountains lying to the north and east, and many fishing villages and beaches in the south.

Carmarthenshire is predominantly rural, and as such the local economy relies largely on the tourism, heritage and leisure industries as well as traditional agriculture. Carmarthenshire is well known for its produce, and is often referred to as the Garden of Wales. The links with agriculture have allowed Carmarthenshire to develop as a food and drink production centre, with the Cross Hands development being the largest food production park in Wales. Manufacturing is also a strong employer in the region.
